I remember the first time I saw Marcy Playground in concert. It was at the Universal City Walk in October of 1997. They were all sick and they claim they played horribly, but I was transfixed. I met them thanks to the wonderful Harmony after the show. I was impressed at how down-to-earth they were. They were nice.

I started this website in 1997 because I wanted to express how much they meant to me. Things have changed lately. While the people and music of Marcy Playground are still very dear to my heart, I simply do not have the time to maintain this website. Nor do I have the passion for web design like I used to.

For these reasons, among many others, this is/was the last version of Recess.

Many thanks to all of you out there. To my friends, to the boys, to the crew, to everyone who's helped me through the crazy world of Marcy. Happy playgrounding!
